  I visited three days in a row so that gives you an idea of how much there is to cover. On day 1 we visited the cafe, let our kids play in the nature playground and checked out the regional gardens, demo gardens and children's trail. That took a whole day. On day 2 we visited in the afternoon to eat the pie of the day and do the red cliff walk. We saw a few kangaroos too. On day 3 we visited in the morning and did the guided tour, which I highly recommend. We had cake and bought souvenirs also. The eco building was so warm on the sunny side that I could sit there in winter in a T-shirt.

  Delightful bird life and beautiful native plants. Friendly staff in the café. Well-stocked gift shop.
  
  Husband was sad to find someone had run over a skink's face on their way in/out despite the road signs telling visitors to keep a lookout for the wildlife. Vet found that the jaw was broken and had to euthanise it.

  Great place to visit if in Port Augusta. Free entry to a unique garden full of all Australian natives classified by the areas they grow. Lovely walk trails and fantastic views of the ranges from the the lookout. Great cafe. Well worth the visit.

  Beautiful. Great footpaths! Marvellous collections of beautiful Aussie plants. Clean toilets, and delicious ice-cream!
